I've been playing with monochrome leaves again, this time using the rose leaf from the Hero Arts Delicate Leaf Cluster set CL477. To change things round a bit, for this card I sponged the background, three colour blocks (Crushed Olive, Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade distress inks) to fit the sketch from Less is More. I was very brave and turned the sketch round:
The challenge at Simon Says is AUTUMN LEAVES.
And the challenge at Young Crafters Unite is:
The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted Butterfly Wishes.
Love the double stamping - it gives the leaves a 3D effect!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the blocks you created and the depth of the leaves!
ReplyDeleteTotally fabulous colour combination, great leaves.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful color blocks! Love the varying intensities of your ink on the leaf stamps. These colors really are warm & cozy....bring on the hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteYour color blocks are a great way to divide the panel for the LIM challenge. Love the leaves with the second generation stamping to give them lots of depth.
ReplyDeleteOh you are clever - such beautiful sponging and stamping!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Your color blocks are so vibrant. This is really beautiful. It would probably qualify at Dynamic Duos this week, too. If I remember correctly the theme is monochromatic yellow. ann y.
ReplyDeleteYour blocks of colour work beautifully Shirley.
ReplyDeleteSuper card... You were brave weren't you!
Thanks so much
