The challenge at Lawnscaping is to try a new technique.
Ardyth had created a card using the burnished velvet technique in this post which I wanted to try. And I wanted to use red glitter so that I could enter my card into the Runway Inspired Challenge:
Just one small problem. Well, not small enough, actually. I didn't have any red micro glitter. So I've used chunky dunky red glitter (well, it's fine glitter, but it looks chunky dunky compared to micro glitter).
The chevron paper is from Penny Black Madison range, and the sentiment is from Woodware FRCL069, stamped in Versafine Smokey Gray.
Chunky dunky looks hunky dory to me! Love the sparkle and the tie in to the RIC! (Love the chevrons picking up on her lapels, too!)
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome - it really does remind me of velvet!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along with Lawnscaping!
That's fab. Love the chunkier glitter. Jenny
ReplyDeleteI think that Chunky Dunky looks great too - it gives the card so much texture and depth! Great idea with the chevrons too!

ReplyDeleteCool card, great use of Madison paper, who would of thought there would be so many grades of glitter, love that you call it chunky dunky!
