After raving about my new Gelli Arts plate when I first got it, I couldn't let this week's Simon Says Wednesday challenge pass without entering a card that used a Gelli background. This is probably my all time favourite (so far!!) of all the backgrounds I've made. I love the earthy shades and the layers of lace and the hemp ribbon across the centre. Lace seems to give the best patterns.

Yes it is darling! I love the background, I think I may be investing in a Gelli plate next year. IThe torn paper dress is fabulous - it reminds me of a skirt I bought in Thailand.
