This week's One Layer Wednesday, hosted by Karen at Snippets, is Sparkle and Shine:
Sparkle and Shine- create a card with something shiny or a bit of bling on it.
And this week's Less is More challenge is to add sparkle in honour of guest designer Gillian:

The Paper Players challenge is Evergreen:
For the card, I stamped and masked the trees from Treemendous by Blonde Moments (Dyan Reaveley) then sponged Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Inks onto the background and spritzed with water for snow. I used Crystal and Turquoise Stickles and stamped the sentiment in blue.

I decided that No.2 Blue Street could have a sloping roof, for no other reason than I just could. I painted a layer of gesso on each of the Blue Street houses, then a layer of white acrylic paint, and some of the houses warped a little bit as you can see on No.1 to the left.
Love this card, the trees are really eye catching. Ahhit makes me wish we had snow for Christmas just so I could do all these wonderful Christmas cards I keep seeing.
