Think Pink. And Turquoise
A really quick post to join in with a couple of challenges:
Less Is More - A Touch of Turquoise
And Time Out Challenges - Happy Birthday
And I'm Joining In To Win with Winnie & Walter, where they are asking you to submit thank you cards. Shay posted one yesterday which was pretty much on the same lines as I'd done mine: don't ink up the 's' of 'thanks', and add the 'you'. I made a conscious decision to use pinks because I seem to be using blues/greens/purples a lot lately.
Hoping to wander round blogland tomorrow...

What a pretty card, Shirley! I love the turqoise and those stamps are great! Thanks for taking the TIME OUT and joining our challenge! xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat CAS card on the first card Shirley. Truly a happy card.
ReplyDeleteThe second card sure gets the point across. The perfect thank you card.
Wonderful cards! I love how you stamped the birthday over top the happy in the first one. Love the watercolour look of the thank you on the second. :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are both innovative ways to use these sets - I especially love the 'thank you' frame - very clever!
ReplyDeleteTwo terrific cards!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for playing along at Less is More this week

Awesome cards Shirley! Beautiful water colored sentiments!
ReplyDeleteI giggled when I read that you are making an effort to use different colors! I am in a constant battle with the "my favorites" portion of my brain when I try to choose colors other than the favs!
great cards Shirley and I like the colours-thanks for linking up this and your other card to TIME OUT x
ReplyDeleteTee hee, me too, Shirley ... blues are always my go to colours! These are fabulous ... love the monochrome look with the touch of turquoise ... and what a fun framed thank you! Anita :)
