Mixed Media Card Challenge 4 - Vintage

A new month and a new challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge.  This month we're going vintage, with an optional element of 'key".

I inked the image (Crafty Individuals CI - 063) with Vintage Photo Distress Ink, spritzed it heavily with water and stamped it off, then second-generation stamped it onto mixed media paper.  Once dry, I added clear gloss finish to the letters.  All other layers and images are from one 6x6 sheet from the Prima Engraver pad.  I just cut up the different elements, punched two holes out of the ticket strip and added Wink of Stella to the key image.

I always wanted to be a clippie!
The Wink of Stella's on there, but you can hardly see it.
I wrote on the strip of paper left over from trimming with a Signo pen, trimmed and distressed the edges then stapled the Happy Birthday onto the main image.

So what does "vintage" conjure up for you?  You've got all month to play along - click here to join in the fun!

And pop back later today for some very exciting news....
