Mixed Media Card Challenge


Happy New Year!  It's time for a new challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge, and this month our theme is "new", what else?


I stamped The Bee's Knees - Houses (available later this month), then coloured them in shades of purple, fussy cut the top line then layered it onto purple card with foam dots.  Added some purple stickle firework bursts and made a wire 2015, pinning it with two purple brads.

    Shirley, your card is pure delight! Those houses are A-DOR-ABLE, especially nestled in front of that wonderful, shimmery purple sky. You must be so stoked to be playing with your 'own' stamps; yet more evidence of your abundant creativity, which I soooo appreciate you sharing with all of us.     Fabulous, Shirley ... the soft colouring on the house gives the impression that they're covered in frost and that the bursts of fireworks are reflecting off it... delicious! Anita :)
