It's time for a new challenge at The Mixed Media Card Challenge, and this month our theme is Flowers with an option of Basket.
My card was inspired after watching this YouTube video by Stephanie Schütze on Donna Downey's channel. So, running with what I had, I started with a Gelli plate print from my stash and sponged white acrylic paint through my stencil (can't remember who it's by). Added some Neocolour II colours on and around the petals, added a stalk, used some gilding wax on the background and on some of the petals, a sentiment (Seven Gypsies) and a dab of Stickles in the flower centre. I'm loving how it turned out, and will definitely be making a few more.
Come and join us at the Mixed Media Card Challenge!
