Craft Stamper Take It Make It - Take a Stamp

Busy day for me on the blog today.  This is the first of three posts.   My Mixed Media Card Challenge post and my CASEplorations post will both appear in a few hours.

It's time for a new challenge at Craft Stamper Take It, Make It.  This month, it's Take a Stamp.  Create anything you like, as long as the focus is physical stamping.

For my card, I started with a piece of mixed media card which I painted with gesso, then splodged some Distress Paints on and spritzed heavily with water and let the colours mingle.  When that was dry, I stamped the poppy stamp (Magenta) in Versafine Onyx Black, stencilled some lettering (Memory Box) with Black Soot, and stencilled some chevrons (ARTplorations) with iridescent medium.  I wrote Happy Birthday with a Sakura Gelli Roll white pen, adhered the panel to a white card base and added some washi tape.

Fancy joining in?  A randomly chosen entry will win six vintage embossing powders in a case, and this lace stamp from this month's sponsor, WOW:

And the entry chosen by the design team will be published in the best stamping magazine ever ;), will have their winner's profile published on the blog, and will be invited to be a guest designer in a future challenge.

Pop on over to the Craft Stamper blog and feast your eyes on some fabulous inspiration from the design team, and join in to win!
