Painted Daisies


It's a day for daisies!  Here's some STAMPlorations inspiration for you, using the daisy stamp from The Birds and The Blooms set.  I stamped three images, masking as I went, then coloured them with Aged Mahogany and Fossilised Amber Distress Inks.  I painted in some stalk and leaf shapes with Peeled Paint, then scribbled some outlines and squiggles with a black pen.  And added some splatters :)

I'm entering this into The Card Concept where the inspiration is this gorgeous photo:

I've gone for Clean(ish) and Layered ;)  In case you're wondering, my painted daisies are Pyrethrums.

    Gorgeous! No surprise that the first thing I noticed were the amazing doodled leaves anchoring the stunning bouquet of "Pyrethrums" (I've learned something new today too!). Another beauty worthy of a display in an art gallery!

    Pyrethrums it is...and you've arranged them in most stunning fashion! This is one of my favourite STAMPlorations images...I think mine need some TCL! Thanks for the inspiration!
