Post No. 2 - The Mixed Media Card Challenge
Post No. 3 - CASEplorations
Post No. 4 - BooBoo on April Fool's Day
So. Welcome to the April Craft Stamper Take It, Make It challenge!
This month's theme is take a technique or theme, and it's Spring Flowers. Your flowers don't have to be stamped, but there has to be stamping somewhere on your project. The other thing to remember is that you should only have the one project in your post to be eligible for prizes. The full rules can be found on the Craft Stamper blog.
This month's sponsor is Traplet Publications who produce Craft Stamper Magazine, along with other titles and the prize for one randomly chosen winner is ALL SIX Kate Crane Art Journalling DVDs! How's that for a prize!
The winner chosen by the Design Team will have their winning entry published in Craft Stamper magazine (so hold on to it!), along with a winner's profile, and be invited to guest design on a future challenge.
For my card, I stencilled clear embossing paste through a Memory Box hexagon stencil, then once that had dried I coloured the card panel with Distress Paints. Using the same shades of Distress Ink I stamped my flower and stem (PaperArtsy) and added a sentiment and some grunge stamping (STAMPlorations).
What will you make inspired by Spring Flowers? Link your entry up here but remember - only one project in your post!
Love your card Shirley, brilliant the way it all comes together.
ReplyDeleteYour big pink bloom certainly is the star of the stage..and oh, what a lovely supporting cast you've paired it with. Another breath-taken-away beauty!
