Craft Stamper Take It, Make It Reminder - Snow and Ice
Are you playing along with the Craft Stamper Take It, Make It challenge? This month's theme is Snow and Ice. If our flight back from sunny Australia was on time, we've landed back in the UK an hour before this post went live. I hope we haven't landed into a snowy, icy landscape!
I remember when we were kids, in the days before double glazing and central heating, my dad would sometimes wake us up saying, "Jack Frost's been!", and we knew that the windows would be iced up with patterns just like on the card - on the inside!!
So, for today's card I sponged Stormy Sky, Evergreen Bough and Tumbled Glass distress inks onto white card, then stamped a wet Stampendous snowflake stamp on it to produce that lovely icy watermark. The sentiment is an oldie but a goodie by Inkadinkado.
Pop on over to the Craft Stamper blog for all the info on prizes and sponsor, and play along!

I love this frosty looking design ..... great sentiment too!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great trip and that you've arrived home safely xx
I too can relate to ice on the inside! Such a beautiful effect on the background with a gorgeous sentiment x
ReplyDeleteYour beautiful background is so perfect for your wonderful sentiment. We are having rain and more rain, but much better than snow and ice. TFS Shirley. Hugs, Nancy
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and dreamy, Shirley ... and yes, just like the frost on the inside of the windows! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteTotally remember the Jack Frost days....and scratching our names and pictures onto the frost...that was on the INSIDE of the window!!!! Anita nailed it with her 'beautiful and dreamy' comment! I echo her response!
ReplyDeleteThe days of Jack Frost are alive and well at our place, Shirley! The *highs* of minus 32C see the frost gathering on the inside of our windows (lousy insulation!). As much as that drives me crazy, the designs truly are magical...just like your card! Gorgeous...and yes, definitely dreamy and beautiful!
