Hot Pink Tulips
Been sloshing again, it's habit-forming. Again, using Distress Re-inkers and a broad waterbrush to paint tulips (sort of). I toyed with the idea of scribbling flower outlines but decided against it for this one. But my fingers are itching...
I'm entering this into The Challenge Keywords. I've hit every one except square.

We're off to a summer street party now. And in typical English fashion, it's raining.

Get Your Party On
Popping in with a quick card for a couple of challenges. I'm supposed to be helping prep for a dinner party tonight but I had to play along with The Challenge when I saw this inspiration photo. Love the soft cream and pink and lace.
I still had my Party Dresses set out from Wednesday, so I made a quick one layer card, colouring the image and sentiment with, appropriately, Tattered Rose and Antique Linen.
I'm also playing at Curtain Call, where the theme is Girly,
and Simon Says Monday Challenge where the theme is Best Friend.
Ok, back to making tuile biscuits and freezing grapes :)

An Un-traditional Christmas Tree
I'm over at STAMPlorations today with a Christmas tree card made with non-Christmas stamps. All the details of which stamps I used are on the blog.
I'm entering this into The Challenge - Make a Non-Traditional Christmas Card

and AAA Cards - Anything Goes
I'm off to see what other non-Christmas stamps I can use...

Winnie & Walter Rerun No. 6 - Happy Christmas
I'm playing along with Winnie & Walter's Rerun No. 6 - Happy Christmas. I stamped the poinsettia six times, sloshed Distress Inks over them and just used the centres from three of the stamped images to add extra layers in the centre. For the background, I stamped three of the sentiments in Versafine Smoky Grey and splattered some Distress Inks over the panel. Well, I would, wouldn't I?
I got the idea for my card from this card from Jenny from Crafting In The Country, where she'd used small sentiments for a background, and die-cut images. (I fussy-cut mine.)
I'm also playing at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge, Anything Goes,
and The Challenge, Create a Christmas card.

Central Perk
I'm playing along with The Challenge since I saw my lovely friend Geri's card:
Geri's card |
The corrugated background on Geri's card got me thinking of the cup wraps you get around takeaway cups. I stamped the image (STAMPlorations Coffee Cup Large) once on white and once on kraft, cut out the kraft wrap then fed it through the paper crimper.
Spritzed some Distress Inks onto my craft mat and picked up the colour with a piece of mixed media paper, distressed the edges and mounted it onto kraft card, and added a sentiment (STAMPlorations Vignette: Eat Drink Be Merry).

I'm over at STAMPlorations tonight comparing these two cards. Hop on over to take a look!

Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes
I've used the colours from The Challenge, my first time playing there. The colours mixed to produce a touch of brown on the leaves, but it was unintended, so hopefully I'm still in ;)
Pop on over to Seize The Birthday to see the fabulous cards that the design team have created for your inspiration, and join in the fun.
