STAMPlorations Special Release - Hot Mess

Hello!  We've got a special release for you at STAMPlorations over the next two days from our newest designer, Queen of Snark, Chris Dring!

Chris has come up with these two fabulous snarky sets, and today we're focusing on Hot Mess (we can all identify, right?!).  The quotes are perfect for using with the ATCs colourables.

Well, I know that feeling!!  I've used a colourable ATC from Retro Fashionistas and added a splattery background and some washi tape.

My next card uses another Retro Fashionista and the Rolls stencil.

Colour Hues - Cards For Ukraine

Hello!  As part of the Seize The Birthday Team, we've been invited by Colour Hues to create blue and yellow cards to show support for Ukraine during this awful time.  The national flower of Ukraine is the sunflower and, although these flowers are officially daisies, they're near enough for me.  The flowers are Altenew, the sentiment is STAMPlorations.  The background is a representation of the Ukraine national flag.

Hello!  Got some Tuesday Inspiration for you over at STAMPlorations, pretty quick and easy.  I'd made a stripy background using Distress Inks and the Plaid Maker stencil so I put it to good use with City Girl.  I just sloshed a bit of colour on her raincoat then fussy cut her and mounted her onto the stencilled background.

Hello, time for some Tuesday inspiration at STAMPlorations.  I've been raiding my bits and bobs stash and, inspired by @sylvievlys on instagram, I gathered together a few random items in vaguely coordinating colours, and threw 'em together!

You've got some Carved Houses, Faerie Door, Super Hero building, Fowl Play chicks, a heart from Two of Us, and a flower from Groovy Shoes.  The stamped marks are from Art Marks 2, and I doodled round the edge of the background, which was a mono print using Bloom Boldly stencil.

Seize The Birthday - Dichromatic

Hello, we've got a fun challenge for you this time at Seize The Birthday - Dichromatic!  Use any two colours, with the optional addition of black/white/neutral, but no metallics allowed.

If you don't want to restrict yourself to two colours, or want to add metallics, you can still play along with our Anything Goes as long as it's a birthday-themed project.

I've created a huge slice of cake using Colorado Craft Company's Big and Bold Birthday Cake, with a sentiment from Citrus Berry Cupcake.

Seize The Birthday - Sparkle and Shine

 Hello, and welcome to a new challenge at Seize The Birthday - Sparkle and Shine, chosen by Cathy.

I used a 3D embossing folder and mirri card to get this fabulously shiny background.  I photographed it under the window, and it captured the rainbow of colours beautifully!  The beer glass is from a Tim Holtz die set.

STAMPlorations Inspiration #354

Hello, time for some more Tuesday Inspiration at STAMPlorations.  I've been rummaging through my bits and bobs stash and found this flower, which was a leftover from my playdate with Michele here where we both used Layered Citrus in a non-citrusy way. You can see this flower at the end of that post.  I simply fussy cut it to use on this card.

I mounted it onto a smooshed inky background, and added a sentiment from Party Time.
